Scope:  The project included concrete construction, new electrical service, new chiller & pump-skid equipment, ice storage system and extensive process piping & controls/device installation. Project Highlights:
ACT managed the design & construction process of Nanosolar’s Service Yard Phase II project. The finished product included a 410-ton chiller system, a water pump-skid capable of pushing over 1100GPM and an additional 480v 1600amp electrical service. To offset Nanosolar’s energy consumption, ACT constructed one of
Silicon Valley’s largest ice storage systems; it generates ice at night during off-peak hours for the facilities use during the day.
